Our purpose is to enrich our communities by providing a direct experience of Tibetan culture and traditions for all ages. We provide interaction with filmmakers, educators, and artists representing the finest examples of Tibetan Culture.

    The monks of Gaden Shartse Monastery Phukhang seek to cultivate intercultural understanding, peace, and healing.

    Thank You for experiencing their visit. We hope to have them back this Fall.

    Donations accepted to help feed and house the monks. Please donate so they can return.

  • 2026 KALACHAKRA Sand Mandala

    Mount Shasta City Park Headwaters (Lower Lodge)

    This display of “Art in the Park” is an example of one of the least created Mandalas in traditional Tibetan Monastic practices. It is easy to say that this is a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ opportunity for most people. It is so special that it requires the Dalai Lama’s permission to create it.

All monastic lecturers are traditionally trained Tibetan monks, many hold degrees equivalent to a western PhD.
