On stage, he has performed in off-Broadway and regional theater productions, including Sarah Ruhl's The Oldest Boy at Lincoln Center Theater, David Henry Hwang’s Tibet Through the Red Box at Seattle Children’s Theatre and Cape Rep Theatre, and the international tour of Abhishek Majumdar's Pah-Lak. In addition to acting, he collaborated with composer Michael Becker on the soundtrack for the Emmy Award-winning documentary Women of Tibet – A Quiet Revolution (2009). 
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he serves as Executive Director of the Tibet Art Foundation and works actively as a performer, choreographer, and educator dedicated to preserving Tibetan performing arts.
